Martyn Krys
Martyn has a business degree from the Universty of Alberta and a law degree from Queens University in Kingston.
Martyn entered into law practice in 1986 - a time of great growth in Canada's feature film industry. Martyn quickly became legal counsel to many of Canada's emerging amateur filmmakers such as: Academy nominee Atom Egoyan [The Sweet Hereafter, Exotic, Where the Truth Lies]; Bruce MacDonald [Roadkill, Highway 61, American Whiskey Bar]; Guy Maddin [Careful, Twilight of the Ice Nymphs] and Jeremy Podeswa [The Five Senses] amongst many others.
Martyn has represented clients in most fields of entertainment including: film, television, music, music videos, music supervision, composing, book publishing, legitimate theatre, web design, computer games. As a result he has represented film and television producers, writers, directors, actors, dancers, musicians, composers, novelists, children's authors, computer game deisgners, photographers and more.
